I appreciate you naming them and not getting snappy bc too many on here do that when you disagree with them. And here is my opinion on those 3: Mathieu wasn't and still isn't even the best pg on his team. Appling had a squad around him and still failed to live up to preseason hype. As for Craft, I'll agree I would take him as the best pg in the big ten last year. So last year I would have taken Craft and Brust from Wisconsin bc they both got the job done but they are gone and even if they were back I'm taking Yogi in the top 5 in the nation this year bc he has shooters all around him now. Idk who brought his name up first but Jared Jeffries seems like a good fit for multiple reasons. Don't know if he or Crean either one are interested in him filling the position but here are some reasons I like the idea: - former IU player, familiar with the environment - recently played in the NBA and had a fairly lengthy career - experience in an NBA scouting role (just heard that here, not sure if true but if so it's a great reason) - big man, would have fit Crean's system perfectly - makes IU look even more family oriented if a guy who has been away from IU for more than 10 yrs and didn't even play for Crean, is welcomed back and placed on staff Didn't he come back for a game earlier this year?
