Not really expecting a win in Denver tonight.  It might be a good night to rest some guys and get Copeland, Sloan, and Butler some minutes.  I'd love to go 4-1 on this West Coast trip, but I would settle for 3-2.   By the way, since it hasn't been mentioned yet how about that PG 4-point play last night?  Wow. 

With a name like that, it's a good thing he plays on the offensive side of the ball. 

I'm ready to go.  I want to get the nasty taste of defeat out of my mouth.  It bugs me so much when IU loses that it is practically impossible for me to watch any college basketball at all until we win our next game, and I love college basketball.  I honestly haven't watched a game other than the MSU game since we lost to NW.  Thank God for the Pacers.   At this point I'm done worrying about what happens come March and I'm in "next game only" mode.  Let's get in done tomorrow and then go from there.

  Excellent post.  Like JS, I ditto the balanced class being the key.  When they are not balanced you end up on four year cycles where the early, young years of a class are rough but by the time that class reach its Jr. and Sr. years you're competitive again.  CTC has to find the balance or we're going to ride a roller coaster every four year cycle.    I'm no a huge fan of the JUCO system, but I don't mind using it occasionally to balance classes out, especially if you can fill a need in doing so.  That is why I'd love to see a JUCO big be a part of next year's class as long as he is not a project like Tijan.     I'd love to find a David West type, for those of you who follow the NBA.  A junk yard type of player.  

Another snow day today, so I've  had all day to get nervous.  I will be sufficiently nervous enough for all of B'town Banners by about 4:45 this afternoon.

  Hey Reb, I've used up my monthly allotment of articles and it won't let me read it.  Could you give me a synopsis?

The Heat lost again last night.  The Pacers are now 4 games up on them in the loss column.  That is big for them as they get ready to head out on another west coast road trip.

Don't forget that Dakich said during the broadcast JH was sitting due to not playing the way the staff wants him to be playing.  Dakich said he loved it. 

I'm not in favor of it, but I'm not going to let it take away from last night's win like some have posted here it did for them.  I'm glad we have a fan base that is that passionate.  Truthfully, I really don't care.     It is so glorified on ESPN that I think kids will look for any excuse to do it.  I teach middle school.  Last year after a dodgeball game in the semi-finals of a school wide incentive for good behavior dodgeball tournament the entire 6th grade stormed the floor after the 6th grade champs defeated the 7th grade champs.  It was dumb, but they see it all the time on ESPN and they wanted to do it even though it was dumb.     My point is kids don't always have the perspective older people do and I just don't get letting it take away from last night.  

We just played our best game of the year, beat the number 3 team in the country, and ended the losing streak against Wisconsin.  So let's all celebrate by having a moan-fest about the court storming.     I don't like it either, but get a grip guys.  Enjoy the win.  

I'm hoping we turned a corner tonight.
