I am sick to death of these slow starts for the Pacers.  I know Lance is out tonight, but still, it's a problem almost every single game.  It actually drives me crazier this year than anything so far with IU.    Also, I love Roy, but sometimes he looks down right average.  

  Even at that, I wish when the Pacers were up by 22 with just over 6:00 to play that Vogle would have gone ahead and put Copeland, Sloan, and Butler in.  Steal some minutes where you can.    Also, I don't know how bad Ian hurt his shoulder, but when he grabbed it my first thought was, thank God we signed Bynum.  

IU 59 Little Ricky 56   We're going to get one of these on the road against a decent team eventually, why not now?

10-8 gets us in for sure.  I'm not as sold on 9-9 with our non-con schedule.  It could though based on who we would have beaten to get to 9-9 and what we don in the B1G tournament.

I like it.  Anything he brings is a plus.  If he brings nothing, we're not on the hook for him next year when we need to resign Lance.  In Bird I trust.

  I noticed that too. I thought he said something about him demanding the ball, but I wouldn't swear to it.

  I said early in the year that we'd only be as good as we were defensively.  IF we are starting to take on an identity as an active, aggressive team, then there might be some good times yet to go this year. 

Weren't we in the mix for this Pithford guy when he originally committed to Florida?

I just turned on the BTN for the game.  I noticed Purdue was playing but I couldn't tell at first if it was the men's team or women's team.  Then I noticed that Purdue had a number by their name indicating they were ranked.  That's when I knew it had to be the women's team.  

  Except with The Lord of the Rings.  I read the books after seeing the movies.  Deciding to read those books was one of the five worst decisions of my life.

  Completely agree with the possible not probable statement.  At least now I have some hope which was something I was lacking driving home from the MSU game in Bloomington. 

I will admit I tend to be the eternal optimist and I can wear crimson colored glasses at times, but I agree I think this team can put together a season saving run.  That might not mean the NCAA tournament at this point, but it could mean finishing strong (including a deep NIT run) to give us hope heading into next year.     IF, and I capitalize if on purpose, we win at Nebraska on Thursday we will end January at .500 in conference.  That sets up a 10 game season if you will to end the year.  There are some tough ones to be played, but if we can find a way to 6-4 in those games we might just get the RPI bump we need to slide in.     The team is not anywhere near where any of us want them to be, but I think they are further along than they were a month ago.  I'll enjoy that for now and get ready for another big one in Lincoln on Thursday.  

  We should reverse it.  The team should rush up into the stands.
