I can never find one now.  The little independent bank that we always got them from has been bought out and they don't do it any more.  I know I could buy one at AH, but there was always something neat about getting one from a local business. 

In early October of 1984 when I was 6 years old, Dad brought me home one of those schedule/calendars from the bank with all of the players faces on it.  For whatever reason I made up my mind that day that I was going to watch all of their games with my dad since I had that schedule/calendar.  The rest is history.

In 1995 when Northwestern came out of nowhere, beat Notre Dame, and went to the Rose Bowl, they had one regular season loss...to Miami OH.  I'm not saying our season will turn out like that, but a bad loss to a MAC team early can be overcome.  

Hopefully better though, because it all kind of went down the crapper after that.  

Texas St. is beating Illinois.   hahahahahahaaaaahaahahhahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha

Great win.  It would have been easy to lay down like dogs after last week, but we came back strong.  Keep in rolling next week and open the B1G at 1-0.

I thought we'd be 2-1 at this point, but not in the way we are.     Anyone else thinking about what could have been if we beat BGSU?   Oh well, that's in the past.  Great win.

Did we?  I thought we left a down on the table.  I was a little distracted helping get the 18 month old ready for bed. 

I wonder if our clock mismanagement at the end of the first half where we got a FG but had one less shot at a TD than we could have had will come back to haunt us.

I hope we have the ball last.  I also hope we don't have to rely on the kicker.  

No point in watching it until today.

This is the way I a was hoping we 'd play this year all off season.  Maybe the BGSU game will be the exception this year and not the rule.
