Can you imagine the panic around here right now if we hadn’t announced DDv and Brownell would was still being listed as the favorite?

If we are going to bring in 10+ new guys, they can’t all be starters who play major minutes. This feels more like looking at fit (DDv) than looking at stats/stars (Woodson).

Has Woodson been linked to any jobs?

I am more excited for this 11:30 press conference than I was any game this year.

I’m posting this for no other reason than I am bored. This will never happen, but what I wouldn’t give to see it. 1. IU announces new coach today or tomorrow that is currently free. 2. New coach starts immediately, obviously. 3. IU reverses course and agrees to play in The Crown Tournament. 4. New coach get 1.5 weeks to practice them and evaluate them in a real game setting and then decisions are made about roster spots. 5. The Crown gets better ratings than it deserves based on rabid IU fans Completely impossible fantasy, but it was fun to think about on the drive home from an appointment.

As much as a drag as this season has been for me, I’m beyond excited to see the roster take shape over the next three months, or however long it takes.

He didn’t even play in the scrimmage at Hoosier Hysteria. I was just thinking the other day the fact that James has never played doesn’t get laughed at more.

Sigh, this will be the most relevant bracket to me this year.

I think we should go all high tech and be the leader in the future of the coaching industry and have some programmers create an AI coach for us. *. He would work cheap. *. No off the court issues. *. Wouldn’t have to worry about his Alma mater or the NBA calling. *. He’s do all the coach’s shows. *. He could coach forever, or at least until an upgrade was created. *. Wouldn’t blame the fans. *. I thought I read that if/when we miss the NCAA tournament, this new Fox sponsored tournament in Las Vegas was the most likely destination. It seems like there might be some conference tie ins with it so we might get some pressure to play than we would with the NIT.

I posted a question in a similar vein on HSN. Basically I asked, if we hire a sitting college coach would we prefer A. A deep March run to build up his profile for future recruits, but we wait longer B. He loses early, but we get him early to start portaling. With this we potentially hear about his poor performance in March ad nauseum I 100% quoted the wrong post on this response.
