    NCAA Tournament?

I figured I'd throw out a blind resume for you all...   Team A: 14-6 overall record, 54 RPI, 2-3 vs. RPI top 50, SOS: 65   Team B: 14-8 overall record, 65 RPI, 2-4 vs. RPI top 50, SOS: 57   One team is considered in, the other is considered out. I'll let you speculate how much Strength of Schedule should matter in determining position in the tournament.

    Biggest Loss from Last season

Elston, because he continues to put up double-doubles, while averaging about 30 ppg in Malta ;)

    The Miami Dolphins

Really hope they're smart and just let him walk, regardless of the outcome of the investigation, which is supposed to be released this week.

    The Miami Dolphins

I am a huge Dolphins fan (don't ask why) and was just wondering what all of you guys thought about the Incognito-Martin "scandal" that is surfacing right now. All of the players came out today and defended Incognito, saying that not even two weeks ago Incognito and Martin were best friends and Martin was laughing with his teammates about the voicemail that has been released. I just want other opinions to see what other people think about this.   They are currently 4-4 and could still make the playoffs quite easily, but this is just a distraction. I'm so infuriated by it. This never happens to my teams... Oh wait, Kelvin Sampson.

    KenPom ratings

I'm not sure that they do, but I think it'd be wise. They are fairly accurate. Only problem is that sometimes mid major teams that have really good records get high rankings because their offensive and defensive ratings aren't opponent adjusted. Like Stephen F. Austin is in the 60s, which doesn't seem fair, even if they are 20-2.

    KenPom ratings

Also, it really depends on the person looking at them. Some people like simple, non-advanced stats. Then there are people that base their opinions on the advanced stats. For me personally, I love advanced stats because it isn't just black and white.
  7. Thanks. Looks like he had a good visit and that was the deciding factor.
  8. Well I did look at his ESPN profile earlier and it had Wake Forest as not having offered. So, they could've offered recently and that's what he was waiting on. I haven't read the article yet, but planned on doing a little more research tonight.

    KenPom ratings

They take into account adjusted tempo and everything else. Similar to Sagarin ratings and ESPN's BPI. I like them. He usually predicts most games correctly. I think they are useful for evaluating teams.

    Who do you root for?

    Also from Indiana.

    Who do you root for?

I think we have to trade Lee to stock up on prospects because having him now doesn't help our team enough to be a contender. We aren't that good. So trade him and make our farm system better.

    Oh, also... I HATE PAPELBON

    Who do you root for?

Yeah, I love Utley, but he just has so many issues as of late. Same with Ryan Howard too. Glad they've stuck with those two, Hamels, Ruiz and Rollins to keep a solid base in the infield.   And I definitely agree. My biggest issue with the team is the lack of young talent. Sure, we have Dom Brown, Darin Ruf (I see some potential to takeover for RH), and a couple of other guys, but the team just seems too old to me. Even the backups have been old in recent years... Brian Schneider, who I can't stand.

    The Miami Dolphins

I'd just get rid of him because there would be too much (bad) publicity surrounding it. Better to just move on with a new offensive line.

(2014) DE Robert McCray to IU

I like his size as a speed rusher, so if he ends up being the replacement, I'm not opposed (even with his low ranking).

(2014) LB Greg Gooch to IU

His abilities more project for him to be an OLB, but I'm sure he would be able to transition to the MLB if we absolutely needed him to. Good coverage skills could allow for him to transition smoothly.

    Who do you root for?

Phillies fan. We had a good run a few years back. Could've been a dynasty. Injuries have killed my team though, along with trading the likes of Victorino and Polanco. Still a die hard fan, though. Ryan Howard is by far my favorite athlete.

    The Miami Dolphins

Saw some of these last night. Looking more and more like Martin is in the wrong in this situation. He'll have trouble finding a spot on an NFL roster.

    (2014) DE Jabril Frazier

We probably aren't going to get this guy, but he's the only other Defensive End with an offer in this class (2014). I think we have some pretty deep, young talent on the D-Line, so having a class where we are a little short on commits at the position won't hurt us too bad.
  23.   No, I don't know of any that we are going after at the DE position, but the coaches may have something up their sleeves. Also, they seem to be a little more concerned with DBs, so I guess this helps them out, just in case we get some of them to commit. Maybe Ballew comes into the picture now?
  24. Don't you just hate when a player flips his commitment ONE DAY before Signing Day? Man, that's frustrating. Opens up another spot for some of the other guys we're going after, though.
  25. Just got a notification from Bleacher Report that Yarbary has flipped his commitment to Wake Forest.
