IUBB Pick'Ems Game 26 vs. Minnesota
djsalway replied to djsalway's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Results are posted. Every single person missed the Yogi/Mathieu question (points+assists-turnovers). The winners of this game had 8 points each and 4 people tied for first (ALASKA SHAKE!, Hoosier in AZ, Napleshoosier, and Scohutch). Great game by everyone and our Hoosiers! Purdue Pick'Ems will be up soon and it'll be a 20 question game. Leaderboard: https://btownbanners.com/index.php?app=pickems&do=leaderboard&pid=9&wid=125 -

Gonna be a close one... IU - 73 Minny - 69 -
And that doesn't surprise me at all. It's a dumpster fire in the front office right now.

Hey man, I'm all for it. -
I mean, my Phillies should be a complete disaster again this year. Watch out for the Cubs though. Could be the surprise team this season.

Vijay Blackmon - Valpo U Strength & Conditioning Coach
djsalway replied to JSHoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Dont get me wrong, I agree. But there's always a chance he improves enough for us to consider him. I think 2016 is too stacked to add him when there are so many other better players out there. -
Vijay Blackmon - Valpo U Strength & Conditioning Coach
djsalway replied to JSHoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
To be fair, I saw JBJ play his freshman year and wasn't impressed at all. Improvement is possible and Vijay has already improved a lot since I first saw him. -
I guess this also means he will be back when I go in April to see the Hornets. WOOHOO!
-
Very stupid. Could cause them to win some more games and not get as good of a pick, plus seems like he may be rushing a little bit.

Oh also, I still don't want to mess with Swanigan.

Can you make NCAA with only 2 road wins?
djsalway replied to Bokkes's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
It shouldn't matter. We should pick up two more. -
Tight race at the top. Let's hope our Hoosiers can pull this one out! Linky: https://btownbanners.com/index.php?app=pickems&do=games&pid=9&wid=124

The difference in the talent between those two is pretty large. Which one is he?

This thread has turned so much.

I would love him to stay. I think we can all agree on that. But the only place his draft stock can go is down with another year. He's climbing up draft boards right now and he may end up being a late first rounder. A deep run in the tourney would all but solidify that.
-
Work ethic was a HUGE problem with those first two you listed. Deshaun's draft rights are with the Spurs, so there's a good chance he will be in the NBA soon, and Glenn Robinson may have been the most inconsistent player (as in he could give you 30 one night and 2 the next) in the B1G in the last 10 years. Never said it was an issue. Was just answering your question.

Chances are he will go in the second round, but if he stays another year, he won't get drafted at all. Age is a huge thing in the NBA Draft and him being 1 year older can be the difference in being drafted or playing in Europe.

There is nothing I don't like about Yogi. After all the maturity he has shown, it'll be hard to keep him out of my top 5 favorite Hoosiers of all time, just based on his heart and effort.
