Didn't watch the game, but from what I've read and just looking at stats, has to go to Yogi. Hanner got his career-high, but I know he's got more to give.

IU vs Rutgers Post Game Thread

Imagine if we didn't have the sloppy start. Then it's a 40 point blowout. Glad they got on the right track after a shaky first few minutes. -
#IHSAA Boys/Girls State Tournament

Good chance that Carroll (my high school) will see Homestead again in Regionals. Carroll's only two losses this year were to Swanigan and the Spartans. Man I hope they can beat them just once, it's pretty difficult to beat a team three times. -
Bump. 2 hours to go.

Yes. Shouldn't have won the series at Stanford, but we did. Could be 4-2, but a 3-3 start is solid for this team.

I can't wait to go see this team in action. As a baseball fan, I love the small ball aspect, which is more of our identity than the power-hitting team of the past.

Bump.

FINALLY. Don't usually watch, but not sure I can miss this one!

Glad I'm not alone WayneFleek and Alford Bailey. It sucks that we're on track to still make the tournament. It isn't good enough.

I mean as far as those are the guys who could be one and dones and would consider going overseas. My bad, didn't word it correctly.
-
The three killed us the first time we played them so that could be a reason.

You're happy about adding a 6'6 tight end from the football team and think he can have an immediate impact. -
Gottlieb had some pretty good points on his radio show today. Can't remember them off the top of my head, but he rationalized the idea. I personally still don't want this to happen, but it would only truly effect the top 50 players in CBB.

If we had a semi-decent defense, we'd have another 4 or 5 wins... Wish there was an easy fix. A center would be a partial solution.

Is it bad that making the NIT and getting a new coach (I've always been a supporter of Crean but can't handle it anymore) is what I want? I'd be okay with missing the tournament this year if it meant we could be better in the near future.

Going to the Pacers/Warriors game Sunday and I cannot wait.
-
Just now seeing this. Wisconsin twice? Ugh.
-
We're gonna make the tournament. Still have a pretty solid resume. Would have to completely implode down the stretch.

Figured I'd get these up early since it's a big question game and I'm sitting around waiting for a test (instead of studying). Alaska, I used some variations of yours in the 25 question pool! I'll be sure to bump this quite a few times since it's a big one. I'll be watching the game on DVR starting at about 10pm, so don't expect the results up until about midnight! Go Hoosiers! Yeah, my lecture hall (about 200 students) is usually full. Maybe half of us here today. Only thing that kept my last class full was the fact that we had a test.

Where do you personally rank the IU-PU rivalry?
djsalway replied to Magnanimous's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Honestly, more than hating Purdue's basketball team and everything, I cannot stand the people I know that go there and are so arrogant, while knowing basically nothing about the game of basketball. That is one of the main reasons they are near the top of my list: the fans. -

Great topic. I would say my number one "rival" that I'd like to see IU play every year would be Kentucky. Just because of the success that they have. Purdue's up and down nature leaves a lot to be desired in terms of performance of the rivalry. Every game recently has been so lopsided, but I still hate Purdue and I'd put it first among teams that we actually play, but second in terms of teams overall. Others would be Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State. I definitely look forward to playing consistently good teams (Wisconsin doesn't count for me because if only 1 team is winning every single game, it isn't a rivalry). Edit: I really don't like Illinois either. -
This would be quite awesome.
