Yes I do know that and I'm with you 100%, but last year we had 0 teams as a state and notice, I didn't include Purdue!

There are potentially three other Indiana teams that will make the NCAA tourney with Butler and ND having a good chance of winning a couple. Valpo will probably get beat early on, but good for them... (Just trying to make our state sound a little better :) ) You're right though, rough year so far.

We are certainly in if we win the BTT. If we go 4-1 over the next 5 with that loss being the BTT semis, I'd say we will be closer to a 6-7 seed. If we happen to win the BTT, probably a 5 seed. We would gain 2 or 3 more quality wins just by doing that.

Fwiw, bracketmatrix.com still has us as an 8 seed, with the highest possible seed as a 7 right now, which is where Jerry Palm of CBS has us too.

Yeah man, it was rough. Only had one position player and one pitcher actually play who will be on the opening day roster, but embarrassing either way. It's a fitting start to this season though, where most days will be the same; ending in a loss.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Figured it was just my eyes. Update for everyone: AZ won, by the way. Now Gonzaga down 8 to BYU with 10 left.

This Utah/AZ game has been great. Certainly living up to the hype thus far.

I follow their account on twitter and just based on the play by play the pitching is awful. Offense isn't bad, but they can't make up for the lack of pitching. (I know way too much about softball because of my girlfriend's sister.)

The D League really makes no sense for a player like Will anyway. He could be making 10x more overseas. The D League is used by guys who want to keep the dream alive. Will offers nothing special for an NBA team, so there really isn't a purpose for him to be in the D League. Go get paid, Will.

Pretty good score line against a perennial powerhouse in Maryland. If the B1G improved in any sport by adding the east coast teams, it is definitely women's basketball.

I started the season completely as a Crean supporter, 100%. After the first Purdue blowout, I switched my stance to on the fence, and now I'm just completely done. Time for someone new.
