I'm interested to see how Molina looks for the Cards. In my opinion, the Cubs have the advantage in this series only because of the Cardinals injury problems. I'm not going to underestimate a 100 win team, but John Lackey as a first game starter is rather underwhelming.

I love the discussion in here. This is what I live for! In my opinion, without digging into numbers because that's already been done, both are worthy candidates and it's a shame that one of them won't win the Cy Young. However, I believe Arrieta will because his epic second half is much more fresh in the voters' minds than Greinke's outstanding first half (and overall season).

I know, was saying team as a whole with Lester as a part of it. Arrieta was the obvious choice all along.

I'll let you have the moment when they actually win something.

  They had a lot of luck in the play-in game. Lester just completely blew up. Maybe he'll be on the right side this year... Or maybe not.

  They have, by far, the toughest road to the series. They definitely have enough talent, just not sure they can make it through the gauntlet that is the Pirates, Cardinals, Dodgers (probably), and Blue Jays (probably).

  I loved him at the beginning, but grew tired of his inconsistency quickly. Has only gone downhill since leaving.

I think the dakich thing has a lot of potential, but also a large chance of being a bust. Depends on how the crowd is for it honestly, and seeing as how most people in the IU fan base despise DD, I don't expect it to be very successful. As for the game, I actually expect us to put up a fight. All depends on Nate (he's been somewhat hobbled this week as well) and how well J Howard can run in space.

No one knows. Took a personal leave at one point and never came back.
