(2014) DE Willie Yarbary to Wake Forest
ccgeneral replied to JSHoosier's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Here's an older article. Video interview in this Link. Willie Yarbary is a Musketeer, but he doesn't need a sword to dominate on the football field. Whether he’s lining up as a defensive lineman or checking in at tight end, Yarbary uses his size and foot speed to cut down offensive linemen, stop the quarterback or break away from a defender. “When you play defense, you don’t have to have a lot of rules,” Yarbary said. “You just have to swarm to the ball and get the ball.” Swashbucklers use their quick feet to gain leverage against opponents. Yarbary has tried to gain that ability by selecting particular teammates to joust with during the week leading up to a game. “When we have practice, I try to go up against, instead of linemen, go against linebackers and special teams guys,” Yarbary said. “It makes it more difficult and it makes me work – it makes me better.” Richmond Academy coach Chris Hughes said Yarbary’s versatility and presence make it easier to stabilize the line. As a sophomore, Yarbary played defensive end and could pass rush from the outside with his speed. As a junior, Yarbary was moved to defensive tackle and could get into the mix inside because of his strength. No matter his position, Yarbary is a weapon. “He’s strong – extremely strong,” Hughes said. “But he’s got real good hands. Technique-wise, he’s perfect. He’s really quick off the ball.” -

http://247sports.com/Article/247Sports-Visits-Vianney-155572 Markway holds early offers from Iowa and Indiana, and is drawing most of his looks as an offensive player. Hardwick is receiving personal interest from several schools including Michigan State, Iowa, Illinois, Northwestern and Minnesota. “Obviously it’s the height, weight, size and speed, athletic ability combination,” Day started in on Markway. “He’s 6-5 and he moves real well for a 6-5 kid. He’s still young. The weight room is something that is new to him. He’s really developed in the last six months. He’s done a great job of getting stronger. I think next year at this time he’s going to be a totally different player than he is now. We just have to put the time in the weight room and put time in change of direction and I think he’ll be a dynamite player. “Jordon is real physical. He’s got the body as well. Physical kid, strong kid, he’s improved a lot in the weights the last six months. I think he can be a defensive end or tight end in college. He’s a young guy that will keep developing.” Markway visited Iowa in the summer and Indiana twice this fall including the Navy game. “They were good experiences,” Markway said. “They use the tight end a lot and I can see myself in both their offenses.” Other programs showing interest in Markway is Illinois, Louisville, Nebraska, Northwestern and Missouri.
