Albers still rolling with this...   As I reported yesterday, 2015 G/F Malachi Richardson plans to announce his decision some time next week. I’m hearing his three favorite schools are IU,Connecticut and Syracuse. Richardson, a five-star prospect, was at the IU-Syracuse game on Tuesday night. He last visited Indiana for Hoosier Hysteria in early October. I’m not sure who the favorite is on this one, but I have heard concerns regarding the shooting Indiana has coming in with the 2014 class. That may hurt the Hoosiers a little bit, according to a source.   Link

Quentin Goodin has confirmed what many Kentucky fans have hoped. If he got an opportunity to play for Kentucky, he would take it.   As for the other school in-state, Goodin says that Coach Rick Pitino from Louisville hasn’t been in touch recently.“I don’t really talk to Coach Pitino anymore,” Goodin said. “Its mostly been Coach Calipari.”   Goodin, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Taylor County (Ky.), has received offers from Oklahoma State, Indiana, Tennessee, UAB and West Virginia recently, and is continuing to draw attention nationally.   “Coach (Thad) Matta from Ohio State and Coach (Tom) Crean from Indiana have been in to see me play recently,” Goodin said. “They have been in touch the most.”   Link

They are 10-6 and in 3rd place out of 10 teams  in the Western Conference.   Verdell is one of the most efficient players in the league. Jones is averaging 18.5 ppg while shooting 54.8% from the field. In addition to leading the team in scoring, Jones is averaging 5.5 rebounds per night while leading the team in assists with 4.5 per game. Verdell scored 28 points in Oita Heat’s win Sunday over Takamatsu.
