New format for the 2019 Eval periods. @EvanDaniels: The Nike EYBL is moving to a format of 3 sessions. The host cities are Atlanta (April 26-28), Indianapolis (May 10-12) & Dallas (May 24-26). Their league championship -- Peach Jam -- is slated for July 10-14.

The Indiana wrestling team continued competition in Virginia at the Hokie Open on Sunday. Bryce Martin at 165 lbs., finished in second-place. Martin defeated Colston Diblasi 4-2 in the semifinal, before narrowly dropping the final 8-6 to Mekhi Lewis of Virginia Tech. Paul Konrath competed for the Hoosiers for the first time this weekend. Konrath won his match in the Virginia dual on Saturday and finished in third-place at the Hokie Open at 141 lbs. Also finishing in the top-five in their respective weight classes were: Elijah Oliver (fourth-place at 125) and Jake Danishek fourth-place at 157. In his second match Danishek recorded a major decision with a 14-1 victory over Zachary Barnes of Campbell. In the quarterfinal Danishek got a pin on Tony Palumbo of Davidson. In the freshmen/sophomore division Michael De La Peña finished in fourth-place at 141 and Rudy Streck finished in second-place at 285.
