First Look: Washington Huskies
The Ola Depot replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
From this it looks like they somewhat struggle with defense in the paint which could help with Vonleh. They also looked like they struggled when they were playing defense on fast breaks which goes in our favor. I hope our perimeter defense will shut them down though. Tevin Coleman not likely to play against Wisconsin....
The Ola Depot replied to jdailey1981's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Sad to see the injures, especially for him. He had one of his best games on Saturday and had to leave like that. He could've given us a boost vs. Wisconsin. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
VIDEO: Indiana vs Kentucky 12-10-11
The Ola Depot replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Yes, I saw that too. I remember looking it up and it wasn't on there anymore. Of course they kept the one in the tournament on there... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Disappointing or Overhyped Team So Far?
The Ola Depot replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Yes, that's why I said randomly. I'm fine with it when the quarterback isn't getting the job done but if, say Nate is in, and he drives us deep in the red zone, he'll put Tre in at an unneeded time. I know it's usually just for him to run but it messes up chemistry with the offense. Even when they aren't getting the job done, in some cases it could be worse to do the quarterback change because it's such a big adjustment for the whole offense to readjust to a new quarterback in the middle of the game. Lucky that hasn't been too big of a problem so far but I don't want it to happen in a crucial time. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Surpringly Good or Step-Back Season?
The Ola Depot replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I think we could finish in the top 3 in the Big Ten at best. We will make the tournament with ease but another Sweet 16 would be an accomplishment. I just feel like we are better off with a chip on our shoulder and being the underdog. Yet, most of the players haven't played in the tournament yet so they don't know the disappointment of losing in it. I find it hard myself to be anything but optimistic before the season but I think this team will do well. We'll win some we weren't supposed to and lose some we were supposed to win. Disappointing or Overhyped Team So Far?
The Ola Depot replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
A little bit of both. I honestly was thinking it would be possible to have a 8-9 win season at the beginning. Yet, we are way better than we have shown, the coaching is just awful. No one on the staff has a clue how to manage the clock or call plays. Mallory needs to be fired, I think he already should have been. We also need to stick with one quarterback. Wilson has no clue what momentum is. Changing quarterbacks randomly in the middle of the game is an awful idea and why he keeps doing I don't know. I think we were overhyped but only by Indiana fans. At the same time we didn't play up to our ability. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Jaquan Lyle just tweeted..
The Ola Depot replied to Feaskb01's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I agree. We are already going to be so deep next year. Another commit would just add to it but if we don't get him, big deal, won't matter much. Would love to have him but not going to stress over this one. It would be a good sign for him to come because it would show that he is willing to work for a starting spot. I know and hope none of us cheer for Purdue, but I want everyone else's opinion on cheer for other in-state schools. I personally don't think it's right. I understand if you live/lived in a different state and you cheer for them. That's fine, but I find cheering for Butler, Notre Dame, Ball State, Indiana State, ect. to be like cheering for your rival. I know try aren't as big of rivals as Purdue but if you cheer for them on a regular basis I feel it's wrong. Every once and awhile, like in the tournament and Indiana's out/not in it or they're playing Purdue, is fine. I just wanted to hear what everyone else thought on this subject. How to Improve College Hoops
The Ola Depot replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I disagree with going to four quarters and changing the dimensions of the court. Changes the game too much. I would like the half court throw ins though. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

I agree. Roberson has been delivering during Sudfeld's slump. Wilson needs to realize that he's our guy. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

That's what I've been saying. The quarterback won't end up mattering if our defense loses us the game every week. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Roberson needs to start. He's shown he's better than Sudfeld.
-
I think we should be worried about the defense more than a quarterback. We can score plenty of points with both but neither help when the defense can't make a stop. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Top 5 Most Hated College Basketball Teams/Programs
The Ola Depot replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
1. Kentucky- Fans and Calipari 2. Purdue- Would be higher but it's hard to hate a team without any success. Find myself cheering against Kentucky more than Purdue. 3. Wisconsin- Fans and coach 4. Syracuse- Coach 5. Illinois- Fans and Coach Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
I like the idea of having a run and pass threat with Roberson. Yet there's something inside me that says to stick with Sudfeld. Yet, every time Sudfeld is having a rough game Roberson is always ready to come in and does well. It's a very hard decision. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
