I think the reason that the attendance was the way it was last year because they were almost over hyped. They were supposed to be a bowl team and some of the players were saying they could play for the Big Ten Championship. Then they didn't even get to a bowl game. With that being said if they want to start the attendance the way they did last year they have to hype them as much but win more. The student section went up and down last year. The Indiana State game, it was almost full and the same for the Navy game because of how well they played. Then they played awful the Navy game and it went down. Then they won vs Bowling Green and it went up and so on. The key to having good attendance is just winning games and being consistent. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I stopped coming on here a few weeks after the IU loss to Illinois because I just couldn't stand reading bashing about Crean in every single thread I went into. No matter what it was about. I have slowly eased my way back into the site this month and it's still here even after all those months. People just need to understand that only under few circumstances should you be bashing someone this much after he just brought Indiana back on top. Getting unbearably annoying. Don't see this as too big of a problem. Of course it takes away the threat of a pass and run but it will definitely help, I think, at a mental stand point. Nate knows now that he can make some mistakes without knowing he'll be pulled (not saying I want him to make mistakes). As for second string situation, Zander Diamont will most likely take that role. He is a true freshman but a very talented player. If something were to happen to Nate during the season, I'd be confident handing the torch over to him. . I hate the LeBron and Heat thing. I'm not a fan of the Heat but I try to defend LeBron because of the crap he gets that he doesn't deserve. He's a tremendous basketball player but "The Decision" both ruined and helped his basketball career. It's hard to even defend him now without being called a bandwagon or Heat fan. Makes me wonder if getting him would persuade Noah to stay or leave. If we get him Crean won't be on him as much to stay as much as he would if we don't. But he could help give Noah some advice and only make him better. I think either way he should stay, I don't think he's ready yet, but money talks. Still hope we can get Lee. This should say something to all the people calling for Crean's firing. We all can judge and say what we think should happen, but we don't know what really goes on inside this program. We aren't in that locker room or attending the practices. There are things Crean needs to improve on but I never doubt his ability to connect with the players and teach them. He knows the game and knows what he's doing. Give him time after truly his first bad season (first couple shouldn't count due to what he had to work with).
