I guess I just assumed he was out for the year. That tweet makes it sound like he should be back at some point. EDIT: Osterman clarified, Hartman could use regular red shirt instead of medical IF needed. My bad, didn't think of that.

This sounds promising.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the locations for the first two rounds are set in stone and tied to seeds. For example, if Oregon jumps Xavier for a 2 seed, they wouldn't go to St. Louis instead of Spokane where Lunardi currently has them. They would still play in Spokane because it's the closest site for them. So we could possibly be a 3 seed and play in St. Louis, but we would have to pass either Xavier or MSU on the S Curve.

CHAMPS BABYYYYY! Also...I seem to remember one other Hoosier team led by a #11, who crapped the bed in Maui, and rallied to win the Big Ten. Spoiler Alert: http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/indiana/1981-schedule.html  Keep it going boys! -

Moved to Indy for grad school a month ago...and just got hooked up with tickets! I'm pumped! First game since I was 7, which just so happened to be a win against Iowa  -
(2016/17) PG Markus Howard to Marquette
J_Smiff replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
He plays for Findlay Prep, and if it's still anything like the team when Stan Rob was there...passing wasn't exactly a focal point of the offense. Nigel Williams-Goss was the point then, and averaged 1.5 assists a game. So I wouldn't read too much into that. -
The two kids he's sandwiched between are both unanimous 5 stars, too. And Mitchell is a top 50 kid.

NC State got waxed at home by William & Mary...hopefully Rawle was watching.

FWIW Marni Mooney never followed Kegler on Twitter. But she has been following Davis ever since his visit.

You would think this is good news, right? Us and both Michigan schools seems most logical, but who knows. -

UM Graduate Transfer Max Bielfeldt To IU

I could be wrong but I honestly don't really think it's that he likes one place or the other all that much more. Both us and ISU are in similar standing for next year (top 10ish team, not a ton of size), but one of those teams involves him playing in the same conference and competing against a lot of his close friends at Michigan. I wouldn't hold it against him at all if we're his 2nd choice. It makes sense, and if he does end up here and busts his ass day 1, you won't hear any complaints from me. -
(2016) SF Miles Bridges to MSU

We weren't on Thomas Bryant's radar this time last year. I for one am sure glad we didn't move on. -
Straight in. Also realllllyyy don't want to play Texas in a play-in game with all of their size.

I think all of us should be hoping for Lyles to come back next year. Dakari should be back (2nd round projections from what I've seen), Lee will be back, and they have 6'11 Labissiere committed already. Even for the platoon, that's a crowded frontcourt. Lyles has been projected as a late lottery pick at best, with lately more leaning towards a late first rounder. Maybe i've missed something about Lyles leaving no matter what, but I think it's a two man race with us and Cuse if he comes back.

That was awful. Embarrassing, actually. The lack of effort from everyone not named Yogi and Zeisloft (and at times Stan) was maddening. Purdue wanted it more, no question. But, this game proves that HMP is a lot more valuable than maybe we all thought. Without HMP, Purdue is the worst possible matchup for us other than Wisconsin. Not only in being able to exploit us in the post, but by letting Hammons play ten feet off Troy and camp in the lane defensively and stop any penetration was killer. Doing that essentially eliminated Troy offensively and let the guards get up in us on the perimeter, and it took away almost every clean look from 3. Defensively, we have a boat load of poor perimeter defenders. JBJ, Z, Max, Colin, and Troy are all below average or worse. They get blown by with ease constantly, and having zero rim protection results in teams shooting like 65% from 2 or whatever ridiculous number it has been lately. Do we win that game with Hanner? No. Is it a lot more competitive? I think so. I honestly still see us getting to 12-6, or 11-7 at worst in the B1G. We'll get them back at the Hall. Today didn't really change anything.

Why is no one talking about Rob Johnson's Injury?

Good time for an out of nowhere game from the bench a la Remy @PU in 2012! -
Staying with your expert transitive property analysis, Kansas State only lost to Arizona by 4. So we clearly would crush them!

Florida also improved to 3-3 with another loss.

Maybe not, but I think they'll be right there come March. And that's all that matters.
-
Definitely JBJ, but I LOVE seeing Yogi with 7 assists and 0 turnovers.
-
I don't think it's possible for Hanner to play any worse, and we still beat a top 25 team. Definitely didn't think that would be possible this year. Also, aside from the obvious standouts, Collin had a very good game, especially defensively. He's been a pleasant surprise so far. Huge win! Let's keep it rolling into MSG at 8-0.
