Personally I want to see all Indiana teams succeed in basketball. (Obviously not Purdue). I love the fact that Indiana is a basketball state and when we had 7 teams in March Madness it was awesome. Jay Bilas wrote a great piece on how to improve the college basketball game that has declined over the last decade. Bilas makes some solid points: - Hire NCAA officials instead of them being contractors - Clean it up- take out some of the physicality to let athletes perform without getting beaten up - Speed it Up - Shorten the shot clock, go to 4 quarters, reduce timeouts - Let the Talent shine - lengthen 3pt line, widen lane, institute half court throw ins late I. The Orlando Sentinel is doing conducting a 64 player voting tournament to find who the greatest Orlando Magic Player in history is. The winner, will be announced November 1st. Does anyone else think it would be a lot of fun for Hoosier Nation to get behind this and Vote Oladipo to the top? I personally think it would be hilarious.
