My Crystal Ball Strategy would be to change my at the first sign of things really swinging in a direction. Then I would show I was on it the longest. I think it's safe to say that Crean knows more about the situation than we did. It's quite possible, that Robinson told Crean he wasn't going to IU a week ago. I honestly don't think asking any questions of recruits is a good idea. 99% of the time the question won't be answered and if it is, it won't be truthful. Recruits on Twitter are just trying to build their brand/ following. That's all it is. I don't think it's our bad ending to the season as much as it is our current roster. This freshman class this year is AMAZING and nobody really wants to say that. It would make me take a second look at a school if the recruiting class right before me was 6 deep and had some really talented multi year kids. I think that's what we are seeing here. Jaquan Lyle's Crystal Ball Prediction just changed in a big way. 24/7's Director of Scouting Jerry Meyer just switched his pick to Indiana. For the record, Meyer has picked 87 Correct and 27 Wrong. (This means basically nothing since they can update their picks whenever they want). Lyle is trying to squeeze in a visit to Indiana in the next couple of weeks. Personally, I would be VERY happy if we end up with Lyle. He could become a great player under Crean and his guidance. Meet and greet wasn't anything special. Basically got a chance to shake his hand and said I've enjoyed watching his game progress over the last three years and look forward to watching his career in the NBA. Oladipo was reall humble and appreciative of all the fans that showed up to see him. Definitely looked nervous, but excited. Overall it was a good night. Very cool seeing him get the standing ovation when he checked in. For reference, Etwaun Moore was BOO'd when he checked in the first time LOL.
