Like others said, the start will be important.   1.  Slow start?  - That's now two games in a row the Hoosiers have come out flat and played poorly in the opening minutes.  I'm hoping alot of this can be attributed to nerves as we are rather young, but it can't continue.  Our first road game won't be pretty if they come out flat...   Syracuse... Dear Lord..   2.  Defense - I'll be interested to see if the defense is as strong as it has looked in the first few games.  Obviously our athleticism and length is really creating havoc on these smaller less athletic teams.  I'll be interested in watching the team defense and deflections moving forward.   3. Free Throws - It's going to win and lose us games this year.  Mark my words.

For those that don't know, Marni is IU's academic advisor and has tremendous relationships with every player. She is one person that ALWAYS gets a visit when players come back to IU or Indiana. My whole thing with Twitter and recruits is... If you are going to be on Twitter, Announce your visits, coach visits, phone calls, texts, top 29, Top 28, Top 27, top 26, Top 25......... top 3, Top 2 and then announce your school decision on National TV, you deserve to catch some heat from all the fans and people you trolled for so long. If you do all those things on Twitter, you can't come back and say you were attacked. That's exactly what you were looking for. Hence the 1,000 tweets Lyles sent about fanbases not following him. I do t think either side is right or wrong. Something happened that affected Martin. That is 100% fact. It's also fact that Incognito sent a nasty voicemail. Beyond that, nobody knows. I read some tweets a Miami beat writer who makes it sound like the coaching staff had incognito "toughen up" Martin. I'm sure he took it too far, but I can 100% see that happening. Who knows why Martin really left, but he did and now will be seeking punitive damages for sure. If. The coaches really said that, and there is proof they did... The whole Dolphins organization is in for some trouble. All that being said, incognito seems like a punk. Some of the videos I've seen of him from Hard Knocks don't paint him out to be the best teammate or person for that matter. Will be interesting to see what comes of all of this. Nothing yet, but hopefully soon. Syracuse is by far and away the most intriguing game. More so than that, I can't wait to see this team in the big ten. I seriously miss me some Randel El. He was the most electric player I've ever seen in person. Dude just never gave up on a play. The option with him was INSANE.
