  Agreed.  I think Davis will be a consistent player for us.  The other freshman will all be good, and have some Huge games a la Williams against Washington.  I've been very impressed with Davis.   I mentioned it earlier, but I think it needs to be said again, Shout out to Austin Etherington.  He really stepped up today and played a solid game.  We needed a spark and he provided one for us.  Hope he gets some more time on the court this season.

I don't know, I'd almost just keep them in there.  Then maybe just show the top 50 or something like that.  You never know when they'll come back and play again.

I think this team stands a good chance to outperform last year's team in the post season, but I'm not sure they can be better.  Our depth is amazing this year, we are extremely athletic, but we are very young.  Hopefully we can keep having guys step up like they did tonight (Davis) to fill the voids for guys who drop the ball (JH, NV).   The only thing that scares the living crap out of me is our PG play.  Yogi is amazing, but what happens when he gets in foul trouble?  What happens when he has a bad game?  What if he gets banged up?   Our depth does not include the PG position... and that's the position that makes this offense move and operate well.  I'm excited for our potential, but I'm bringing it back because I'm nervous about our backup PG play.

  When I set up this site, it was important to me to have a place where Hoosiers could come and discuss their teams.  In doing so, I wanted to make sure posters weren't bashing kids for having a bad game.  It's one thing to have a discussion about struggles and who is currently struggling, but there is no need to call a kid out for sucking or wasting a spot on the team.  I'm not saying you did this, but we've had quite a few drive by posts in the last week that has us a little on our toes.  We don't want to let the boards get out of control.   We have plenty of members on this site with VERY close ties to current and former players, we want to keep things civil.  With that out of the way, I hope you can respect that and continue to post here while following our simple guidelines.

I think the major difference between that game and this game, is Cody actually played and was completely ineffective.  Noah took himself out of the game with fouls every time he entered the game.  His minutes were ridiculous.  I understand sitting him with two fouls, but when he came in and picked up his 3rd, I thought Crean should have kept him in.  Let Noah get in a rhythm and play a little bit before instantly taking him back out of the game.  A learning experience for sure, too bad we couldn't come out on top.   I have a feeling Noah is going to come back STRONG from this game.  Similar to how Cody did after MSU.

This is a bullet point kind of game...   We played like absolute Crap...  Almost beat the #18 team in the country Played 100% of this game without our best player...  Almost beat the #18 team in the country 17 Turnovers...  Almost beat the #18 team in the country Outside of Devin Davis (7pts, 7reb), the freshman class didn't show up...  Almost beat the #18 team in the country Shabazz Napier was C-L-U-T-C-H...  Almost beat the #18 team in the country 2 turnovers in the last 68 seconds of the game...  Almost beat the #18 team in the country Disappointing outcome? Yes. Disappoints Game? No.   This team will learn so much from this game that will carry forward throughout the rest of the season.  Yes I would have loved for us to pull out the victory, but it wasn't meant to be tonight.  For as bad as we played, we hung in there and went blow for blow with a quality basketball team.  We essentially just watched a Sweet 16 game that was hard fought and a ridiculous defensive effort by both squads.   Nothing to hang our heads about on this game.  This game will help us vs Syracuse.

I care about Indiana Basketball WAY TOO MUCH... My heart is seriously hurting watching this game... 

Oh man... just get this shot off in time to crash the boards.  Get Noah in the game!
