IU Hoosier41

  Seems to finally be working with a set lineup.  We've only been asking for that for months!

Jeez... Could you script a worse way to end the first half than this?  Brutal stretch to close the half gives all momentum back to the Illini.

With the transfer rumors running rampant, I got to thinking about what has changed in the program. Overall, there hasn't really been much to point at, but I did have a thought on Mo Creek. We all know his story and injury struggles at IU. He finally got some minutes last year, but they were few and far between. This is similar to many current Hoosiers on our team that have the rumors flying. No goes off to a smaller school and is now loving life. He's dominating on the court and appears to be loving every second of it. When these kids committed Im sure many if them were excited to commit to a Big school and get the national media attention for committing to Indiana. Now that they are there (and not playing) do you think No's success could help their thought process on leaving? I'm not saying it's definite, but I honestly think that Mo's success is impacting some of the speculation on players who turned down smaller schools to come here. (Butler, Butler, Butler). This isn't why Luke left, but could it impact other players? DISCUSS.

Honestly pretty happy with how we've battled back.  The turnovers are a MAJOR concern, but we're hanging tough right now.  Let's hope this isn't Uconn & Notre Dame all over again where the second half turns ugly

I'll watch it regardless but some of IU's cupcake games will just have the game on in the background and not pay 100% attention. Now a big game, if I can't watch it live. I turn my phone off, and any communication possible until I watch it. I do miss being on Twitter during yr games and seeing peoples reactions. That being said, I rarely miss a game. I've used owning BtownBanners & all that business to get out of plenty of events. Great excuse to watch games. "Sorry guys, I've gotta work during the IU games." I joke, but this place can be a pain I. The @$$ to keep up and run :)

I understand the logic of we all did it. I just don't accept it in those circumstances. You and I might have gotten wasted and passed out in college, but neither of us were on full ride scholarships and playing basketball for a big time college. You sign up for that when committing to IU. It's not like he got wasted once and was booted from the team. You get warnings and know the standards. Kind of reminds me of Kellen Lewis although not NEAR that level.

Been hearing rumblings for a couple weeks that someone was leaning towards transferring...  Luke Fischer wasn't his name though... Could there be more?

  From what I can tell, playing time wasn't an issue.  I would guess (and this is no inside information AT ALL) that it comes down to one of three factors:   1 - He doesn't like the uptempo style of the Hoosiers and wants to become more of a true post player 2 - He is homesick and wants to be closer to home (See Marquette) 3 - He wasn't happy here, wants to find a situation that will make him happier.   At the end of the day, I think it hurts this team that Fischer is no longer around.  I think he was really going to help us and be a SOLID 4 year player.  That is tough to swallow looking at our frontline.  That being said, if Luke wasn't thrilled to be a Hoosier, then I hope he finds somewhere that makes him happy.  It's only a game for us, this is his life.  Wish the kid well, and the next guy will just have to step up.  Now we get to be excited about who we will recruit to replace him!     The College Basketball news cycle goes full circle now a days.  Who do we go after?

Wow... First game I've watched of hers. The other team is HORRIBLE. Tyra has 9 steals in the first quarter...

I got a ton: - 10th Row IU vs Wisconsin Tickets - CandyStripes (shocking I never owned a pair isn't it?) - IU Glasses - IU Polo - IU Gnome dude & a couple other trinkets. Good to be a Hoosier.
