Scouting Summary:

Moreno is one of the top player’s in the 2019 class in the state of Kentucky. Moreno is an athletic SF/W that uses a quick first step and strength to finish over bigs in and around the bucket. He has above average ball handling skills for a young 6’6″ freshman. Moreno has a nice soft touch in and around the paint and has a nice mid range jumper.  Moreno plays within his game and takes advantage of his strengths. He has a good game IQ, good vision for a young big. Moreno also rebounds the ball well. A huge strength Moreno has is finishing in transition. His athleticism and great hands allow him to be a huge threat in transition and Moreno isn’t intimidated by mature players on either end of the floor. Right now Moreno is more of a slasher/ stretch forward and understands how to play within his game. Moreno needs to continue working on his ball handling capabilities as well as developing a more consistent 3 point shot to his offensive repertoire. Moreno is a special player the 2019 class and can become on of the best to play at the prestigious Scott County program. Moreno is an excellent prospect that will only get bigger, stronger, and faster.

Scott co. Beats Lexington Christian Academy 79-63.  2019 SF Michael Moreno led Scott Co. with 32 points & 15 rebounds

Scott Co., playing in the Beach Ball Classic at Myrtle Beach.  Yesterday they defeated  Myrtle Beach 76-50.  Moreno with 23 pts. and 7 reb.  Play again on Wednesday.
