He has a lot to work on, but so do the nets in general. Their defensive rotations are quite bad. Hopefully Yogi can get some quality PT this year as the Nets figure out what to do next.

it was a backside screen on the baseline to open a shooter in the corner. His foot was out of bounds when he set it.

Yogi getting some first half run tonight:

1-1 shooting, 2 assists, no TOs and +5 in six minutes. 

AND, he was the first PG in off the bench; Lin and Whitehead have yet to enter.

Four UK guards on Phoenix: Bledsoe, Knight, and Booker a combined 3-22 from the floor, Ulis has not entered for Phoenix (!)

Yogi's return  to D-League was very productive.  LI Nets won 114-104; Yogi played 38 minutes; 18 pts. on 7-18 FGs; 10 assists and 4 reb.

I'm afraid Yogi's first year of pro ball is going to be like a yo-yo.  He had been recalled to the Nets but today was sent back to D-League.

Ferrell was assigned to the D-League's Long Island Nets on Monday.

Ferrell has been available for the Nets' last two games, but has logged just three combined minutes over those contests. Though Jeremy Lin (hamstring) remains sidelined, it appears the Nets are comfortable proceeding into Monday's game against the Wizards with Isaiah Whitehead, Randy Foye and Sean Kilpatrick as their primary options at point guard. Ferrell, meanwhile, should be in line for a huge workload with Long Island in their matchup Monday against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

BROOKLYN (Dec. 8, 2016) – The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on guard Yogi Ferrell.

 Ferrell, who signed with Brooklyn on November 9, appeared in 10 games for the Nets posting averages of 5.4 points and 1.7 assists in 15.1 minutes per game.

The Nets, arguably the worst run franchise in the NBA, were never a good fit for Yogi. Not sure what he saw in them other than playing time. He needs to choose his next offer somewhere with a good culture and up tempo system.

I do not know the answer, a question I have is a team forced to place a player on waivers if he doesnt stick after a few call ups?
