I'm so happy for him. Criticism aside, you can't ever take away the fact that he's got two Big Ten Championships in 4 years. That's a big deal to Hoosier Fans after such a long dry spell.

And, to me, is the bigger question!  Can we come back and be successful next year after the year we are having and losing Yogi?  If we can sustain success without the huge drop off years like we have seen.  If he can do that I will be on board to see out the rest of Crean's contract.

"There's a lot of things that have happened in this group, and there's a lot more things to happen, so we're not going to talk too much more in the past tense.

 

"But the bottom line is: when you believe in what you're doing it is amazing what you get done. 

 

"Now we've got one more regular season game, and there is absolutely no way, there is no way, there's no way, that we're not walking out of that place Sunday with our seniors with their heads held extremely high. There is no way. There is no way that this group is not going to walk out that way. And that's what our focus is going to be.

Man, Crean has even upped his postgame speeches to resemble that of a championship caliber coach instead of a bunch of platitudes and mindless coach-speak.

I heard a radio interview after the game and he was talking about Yogi and you could just hear in his voice and through his emotion just how much he cares about Yogi and the team.
