regardless. All bad losses.

Why regardless?
I think our D has improved a lot, for the most part we have cut down our TO's. OG has emerged, Crean actually sent Troy to the bench (sometimes) after TO's, etc. etc. I thought those were changes we wanted to see.

Right from the very get go, when Johnson jacked up a three immediately after the tip, I could see we were likely in trouble.  It seems like not one player on this team values possessions - either with stupid turnovers or chucking up 3 pointers like it's a shoot around.  This is the kind of game where I really regret wasting 2 hours of my weekend watching it.

BTW - What the heck was with the BTN graphics?  It seemed like they couldn't manage to update the score until the other team was 15 seconds into their possession.

What was up with Yogi? Just totally off. Troy, not even surprised. OG looked like a frosh. TB wasn't given much chance. Ill advised timing on numerous threes and who was taking them. That Zone defense!!!!!! What a joke.

Told my friend to look out for Yogi having a bad game. His former basketball coach at Park Tudor got arrested this past week on child pornography.

The zone should never be played against a team that has one player that can get his own shot. Foul trouble or not throw that zone away. U just make it easier on the other team by playing that. Make them best you by playing your best defense

This one's on our guards .. They didn't get the ball to Thomas Bryant. That is all we needed, bad calls or not. TB needs to touch the ball on almost every possession.

I agree the guards need to feed the post better, but outside a couple anomalous games over the Tom Crean era at IU, we have never known how to feed the post.

This is an inexcusable loss - PSU is a very very bad team. We are the same team as last year. An 8 seed that loses in the 1st round of the NCAA. And what's worse is that such mediocrity is acceptable to Glass. I pray Troy goes "pro" after this year as he does nothing positive. Never seen a kid regress more than him. We will beat Iowa and Maryland and will lose to Illinois. The inconsistency and mediocrity kill me. Just when I thought Nancy Boy was doing a good job ... Officially done with him but will stay behind the team.

I wouldn't say Troy has regressed, he just hasn't really improved.  Junior Troy is pretty much the same as freshman Troy; insane athleticism and a basketball IQ through the floor.

its regardless because the common thread is all losses were to bad teams. Are we better? Maybe. Not tonight.

I get your frustration but in your argument you state we will beat two of the top 5 teams in the country.
Kind of funny.

the difference is junior Troy actually thinks he is a pro player lol

the team flashes back to playing like we were at the beginning. I agree over all we have improved but we are proving very capable of returning to being as bad as we were the start of the season. Jury is still out because if we fall flat on our face the next several games nobody is going to remember us beating bad teams and the one good win at Michigan got demoralized a bit today by msu

Troy was much better last year than this year -- that's the definition of regression. We will be better without him (much like the addition by subtraction we saw with how the team has played since a certain injury earlier in the year).

are you meaning health wise or just because he is busting his butt to get post position and they won't pass him the ball

probably means why was he gassed after sitting half the game and not doing anything significant to use that type of energy

think you can blame this year on Crean thinking that Troy can actually make good decisions as a point forward
