I was just texting a buddy about JBJ and I told him I thought we would be Better defensively. I hate to be so calloused as to say that.

Just heard that JBJ hurt his knee in practice and will not play. His 15.8 ppg was just enough to cover the spread... wonder how this turns out?

 

Could this be "addition by subtraction" at least defensively?

Well, there can't be a "bunch", the arena only fits like 40 people.

 

What are you a clerk? I thought Lawyers work on their own schedule. And negative my friend it wasn't a use it or lose it situation!

Just like any other business, until my name is on the side of the building I still answer to someone.

 

Other than entire days off, which I still have to use PTO for, I make my own schedule though. And, as long as I don't have any appointments I can take whatever days off and work from home when I need to. I mean, 7 pm games are on at 4 pm here, so I have to leave early all the time.

 

And, even when making my own hours, there is usually something I will check-in with and do outside of work. That's the biggest downside, you have to be prompt on a lot of things and can't just ignore them because you have better things to do with your day. I probably have about an hour's worth of work to get done today on my day off.

JBJ has been terrible on defense. Constantly out of position this year. I know the defensive shifts have been confusing for everyone, but he's been particularly adept at losing his man or being out of position. Replace him with someone like Max, Colin, or even maybe OG in the starting lineup, and I'd bet we're better defensively.
