WORLD SERIES

Recommended Posts

The bulk majority of St. Louis have been very good this series. I have been a dick but many years of built up hostility will do that to people. I have no doubt the Cards will continue to be there. Our division is like early 2000s AL East for the next few years.

Cubs simply outplayed the Cardinals. I think the Cards have slowly shifted away from the identity they used to have. Their players just didn't get it done when they needed to and they big arms didn't produce. The Cubs found ways to win even when their best players didn't perform

Congrats to the Cubs, great young team!

Cardinals ran out of gas and faced a better team at the time. That's what the playoffs are all about, who's playing the best and riding momentum.

I said to a lot of friends I felt the Cardinals would have trouble this year with all their injuries. Offense was awful most of the year, and the pitching carried us the entire way. Pitching staff really wore down.

I will cheer on the Astros and Kyle Schwarber!

I am not a Cub or Card fan, but I am a fan of the National League. I find it great the Cubbies won this series. I wish them great success moving forward. Their attitude, youth, and power are a joy to watch. This is a franchise that deserves some success. The Cub fans have always supported them. They come to watch for three reasons, because its the Cubs, because its baseball, and because its Wrigley.

Anyone watching Texas/Toronto?

I've never seen a run scored like this ever, not even in Little League.

A pitch was high. Martin caught it, inadvertently threw it off the handle of Choo's bat, which allowed a runner from third to score.

4 asterisks.

@Cubs: Per @CubsJoeMadd, Addison Russell will not participate in the #NLCS. #Cubs

Hopefully he can be back for the World Series. Time for Baez to step up. Baez has been a bit shaky in the field but has looked great at the plate
