McCutcheon overwhelms Western (Howard Co.) 70-30.  Phinisee with 21 pts.  He was 7-15 from the floor and 6-6 FT's.

Western point guard Cooper O’Neal scored five points in the opening minute to give the Panthers a 5-4 lead and prompted Mavs coach Tyler Scherer to make a defensive adjustment. He switched Phinisee to guard O’Neal, and McCutcheon did not give up another point for the remainder of the quarter, opening up a 19-5 advantage.

I’ve seen people elsewhere say that once we see Phinisee in candy stripes and on the court for IU it will make us forget about Garland....shoot, I already have. (Especially knowing Garland pretty much just used us to get his name more publicity). Definitely excited to have Phinisee as a Hoosier. His rankings are whack. Plus, it’s cool to see him in the stands at nearly every home game watching and cheering the team on. You can tell he’s excited to be a Hoosier. He’s been very impressive so far his senior year and will be a great player for us from the start.

If Phinisee and Anderson get deep enough into the State Tournament, they can both get to 2000 career points. Landing Romeo would obviously make 3. Off the top of my head I don't remember any single class  of ours with that much production,

Phinisee, who scored four points in the first quarter, racked up nine points in just 90 seconds late in the second quarter to lead the way.

However, the Mavericks received a scare when Phinisee went down hard and injured his right knee while driving to the hoop as time expired. Phinisee was visibly limping as the teams left the court, but returned to score 14 second-half points.

For the game Phinisee also had 7 rebounds.

So there has to be a reason that scouts perceive him where they do.

What are Phinisee's perceived weaknesses?  I assumed it was athleticism, but when I watched some highlight videos I was impressed by how easily he could get up and dunk.
