Best players you have played against.

Played against Brody Boyd (Iowa) and AJ Graves (Butler) in HS. Remember pickup games at the HPER getting ran over by the likes of AJ Moye, Hornsby, Earl Calloway, DJ White...it's almost funny watching guys duck out of the way so they don't get plastered. Also remember shooting up for teams and Hornsby missing his first free throw and having to sit out a game...talk about a shocker lol.

He went to Crete Monee.

Nice. I went to watch them play Danville in the playoffs my Junior year after we got eliminated. He was probably on the field and I didn't even realize it.

Played Cody Zeller probably 5-6 times in high school. Ended our season at Regionals twice :D

Best high school team I ever watched was the Greg Oden/Mike Conley team. Conley was the quickest player I ever saw at the high school level.

We're you in the Big8 Conference? My high school was in that conference.

Played against Chris King at the Y. He played at Wake Forrest and later in the NBA. I hit a couple uncontested jumpers, he was like "Who's guy is that". Next possession I was his guy, needless to say that was it for me. My only other attempt was put in the bleachers.

Probably the best performance I saw in person was Dan Palombizio. A former Mr Basketball who started at Purdue then transferred to Ball State. He was playing for BSU against Eastern Illinois and Kevin Duckworth, later of Portland Trailblazers fame. This dude was intense and DEMANDED the ball in the post. That day he ate Duckworths breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think he led the nation in scoring that year. Unfortunately KD died of heart failure at the age of 44.

Played against Jon Scheyer in an 8th grade tournament. He and I were the same height, but I played center and he was handling the ball so I didn't really have to guard him much. His GBN feeder team destroyed us and everyone else in that tournament.
