Can't defend without Hartman. Can't defeat a simple zone...against subpar opponents. Just to the point of shaking my head now. Is what it is and that's how it's going to be. Your concern about the timeout is valid. What you witnessed was the arrogance/stubbornness of Coach Crean. Both are not virtues for him.

The thing is he constantly says how young a team he has. So why not call a timeout if things are going bad and earn your millions by coaching instead of clapping on the sideline.

I'm far from the biggest Crean fan, I've called him mediocre on more than a few occasions, and there's not a coach in the country that would draw up a play with the intention of a turnover.

 

Why the hell Troy had the ball instead of Yogi is a different thing entirely and questionable at best.
