So basically no one has any idea what happened and the video, if there is one, is the only thing that will matter since everyone involved just brushed it off as if it was nothing.

What I heard is his friends paid off the Walmart surveillance guys and for the tape. For the last couple years Dez has been paying off his "friends" who have the tape to keep it out of the public. Dez recently decided to cut ties with those "friends" and so they took it to the Cowboys and TMZ to start a bidding war and the tape would go to the highest bidder.

That is why this is just now coming out. Seems reasonable. Also, the dragging to another car is after a beatdown which is worse than the one punch ray rice video...

Not trying to defend him but it sounds like his friends weren't ever real friends
