Jordan Fuchs to play?

Recommended Posts

Have zero clue of the truth in this, but someone said they had heard he's been working on hoops since Christmas. Not sure if that's solo practice or practice with team. Or practice with some guys on the team.

It's hard to follow his recruitment due to it being in 2 sports, but here's his rivals page. I don't know if these are football and basketball schools mixed, or just basketball. If it's just basketball, he had some really nice offers.

It's just basketball. How do I know? Xavier does not have a football team and recruiting sites don't usually list 1-AA schools.

Heard Latham for about 2 years now.

Latham has never made sense. IU lists him at 6'5" and 318. At his position he would have to lose too much weight to get into solid basketball shape. Fuchs, on the other hand, has the right build for an undersized (only in height) PF at 6'6" and 230 lbs.

He's with the team. I think he will get a few minutes tonight.

If he has just joined the team, it doesn't say much for anyone else, if he is actually able to play tonight.  That would mean that a young man just off an injury and only practicing for a week or so, is better able to play basketball than the guys Crean has already given a scholarship.

Could be a big boost for us not only this year, but in the future. Don't have to use a scholly, but he could turn into a solid player. Love this.

And with playing football at IU he will always be available the end of November. :stop:
