Interesting little video from the NCAA head of officiating breaking down block/charge criterion. Found the 2nd example, the UK kid, particularly interesting in that, even as he’s explaining why it’s a charge, everything in me says it’s a block. The defender shouldn’t be credited with being quartered on the driver. No, that’s just wrong.

IMO, the 2nd example is clearly a charge. The defender isn't credited for being quartered on the driver, the driver is quartered to the defender, changes direction slightly and creates contact with the defender in legal position. 

It would have been nice if the BIG refs had reviewed this video before the start of the BTT, especially the part about the defender needing to be in position before the offensive player leaves his feet.
