Well in terms of the Big Ten Minnesota is far better than anyone imagined and just knocked off Michigan. Nebraska and Penn State look like the only truly terrible teams, but some of the squads who were thought to be better are not so good (Michigan, Maryland, Rutgers). Looks like another year in Big Ten where anyone can beat anyone else and it will be really tight 1-12 minus the Cornhsukers and Nittany Lions.

Minnesota doing to UM what we should have been able to do to UW.

I'd be willing to bet our starting 5 was all rated higher than Minnesota's starting 5, and UM's > Wisconsin's.

The transitive property is worthless for the most part, but fun to play with.

What will be interesting to see is how Minnesota plays once they get into the grind of the Big Ten.  They really only play seven players and 4 with four really getting 35 to 38 minutes/game.  The one starter getting less than 35 minutes/game is Eric Curry, and he's basically been hurt most of his career and had knee surgery and he's getting about 30 minutes/game.

What all of this tells me is that the conference is going to be a dog fight to the end. Whoever wants it the most, wins it. That Purdue could lose at Rutgers tells me everything I need to know.

Notre Dame wins.  Bucket at 12 seconds left put them up 2.  Driving layup by UK no good and they don't foul, ND dunk at the buzzer.
Honestly, it was a low quality game.  ND didn't do anything special -- more about what UK didn't do.  ND gave them the perimeter and UK couldn't hit.  ND able to keep rebounding even by having their guards sag and crash along with the bigs.
Offensively, ND scored 66 mostly when UK lost their man defensively.  Really poor effort by UK.
Calipari not going to play ND now since they stormed the Court?

FWIW, Minnesota has 6 road games in the Big Ten where they will have had played on minimum rest from conference schedule (I.e., two days rest between games).
