Bad sportsmanship award this week goes, in part, to the arena announcer at the Nebraska vs Michigan State game.  Nebraska was behind and getting hosed.  Nebraska player got fouled and stepped to the line to shoot free throws.  The arena announcer broadcast over the loud speakers just as the player was shooting.  Really classless and bad form.

Almost as bad as those court-side advertisements that flash.

Classic for MSU.

I agree!! The ad for (I think) Greene & Schultz (or maybe another Ken Nunn lol) with the basketballs that bounce all over the screen oughta be taking down.

Interesting

That Woodson has them continuing to shoot by volume at the bottom of DI is mind-blowingly stupid. The "but we don't have shooters" excuse was always a bad one, this just highlights how nonexistent Woodson's use of the arc actually is. The shots are there and efficiently, and we're still barely shooting.

Last in the conference in 3’s per game, but 1st in long 2’s. It really is a straight F U to even the most basic view of efficiency.

Really wish somebody would ask Woodson about this. He probably wouldn't give much of an answer, but he needs to be able to explain why he thinks long 2's are even worth shooting.

I hate the shot charts that are basically Alabama shooting only runs at the basket and threes because open 2s are still a good shot and should be taken in the flow of good offensive execution, imo.  I also just aesthetically dislike the constant dribble drive and kick.

With that said, if there’s one team who’s share chart could credibly look like that it would be a team like Indiana that dumps it into a couple big post players and has good perimeters setting up along the three point line. It shouldn’t even be possible for us to have a bunch of long 2’s except that our spacing is constantly a mess.
