Interesting. That’s his 2nd de-commitment. Was previously committed to Auburn, I believe. He’s from Alabama and given all the kids Bama has lost it’s hard not to think that might be the move. Would certainly suit his game.

They had their run and the pecking order is being reset.  I think NIL has turned into garbage that will have to be dealt with in some manner or it is going to kill college athletics.  We are just lucky that we are fans of a program that has Yankee and Dodger money as opposed to Pirates cash....

Somewhat random, but I just read there are fewer than 3000 people worldwide that are 7'1" or taller. 

My guess is Matt Painter has recruited most of them.

That's crazy considering that over the past few years Purdud has rostered Edey, Haarms, Berg, Haas, and now Jacobsen.

That means that  almost two-tenths of a percent of people on the planet that are that tall have been Purdoo centers.

The Covid year never ends. Chris Ledlum and Jordan Dingle are suing for another year of eligibility because the Ivy League cancelled the 20-21 season. So, in effect, they didn’t get a Covid year. I see their point, but I’m completely over 24-25 year old men playing in college.

I like Ant a lot. He may even be right. But, man, there are so many pieces to incorporate and get acquainted here that in November they may look like the ‘76 team some moments and the ‘09 team other moments in the same games. This will be an undeniably interesting season.
