Yes sir. Should remove all issues of crashing moving forward. Not saying it won't happen again, but it shouldn't happen anywhere near as frequently as it has in the past. I'm using the new app now and have had zero crashes this entire week.

I haven't seen it come up in my updates and I have the app.

He said it was submitted. I'm pretty sure Apple has to approve it before you can update. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Yea it's waiting for review. The android app gets approved in a whopping 5 minutes. Apple takes like 5-7 days

Worst process I have ever seen.  On one of the apps I have published.  Apple even came back after the third update, and would not approve it, because they said I needed to change the rating...

It took 2 1/2 weeks for my last update to be approved.
