"As a '14 "   -  does that mean that Holt reclassified and is going to join a program for the 2014 season?

Per his coach...

“He’s versatile because of his ability to pass the basketball,” Popp said. “He can guard multiple positions. He’s listed at 6-7 but his wingspan is 7-3. He has one of those Elton Brand bodies. You see him and you have to kind of look at him a little bit to take in exactly what his body is like. He has these size 18 sneakers so we’re convinced that he’s still growing. He has the baby face with the million-dollar smile.

“He lets the game come to him. He’ll go a first half where he only has four points, six rebounds, and one block and you’re waiting for him to break out. He really has a knack for letting the game come to him and I think that’s very special for a young guy like himself.”

The article above said Holt was a 2014 Webster HS graduate but planned to attend Vermont Academy prep school this upcoming year to get his "head on straight". Whatever that means.

A player needs to have his head screwed on straight before he gets on campus. Otherwise, he's setting himself up for trouble.

So he's not going to the academy afterall? Did he change his mind when the bigger schools started calling? From the limited videos he looks to provide what we will desperately need this year. I say take him. Crean shouldn't bank any schollies as he's not in any position to do so. He needs to win now.
