Godlevske is the coach at Butler now. Although Damon didn't have much success as the boys head coach. Edit: His daughter, Alexa, is a 2015 Commit to Butler. He was undefeated 2012/2013 state champs at Bedford North Lawrence with the newly named head woman's coach at Butler. This year he only lost one game to the eventual state runner up and beat them in the final game to win back to back. The teams were loaded with talent but it does take a pretty good coach to manage that.

114 above says they have a coach that he coached under. But all I know about girls ball is I can't wait for Tyra Buss to suit it up.

I graduated from BNL in 1985. Very surprised to see another Star on here. I have been gone from Indiana since 90. I do get back to visit about every summer though. You are right. Although there was a lot of jealousy from other schools during Damons career, I always saw him to be a class act. Very humble. There was a rumor a few years back that IU was gonna hire Alford, and Damon and Cheaney were going to be assistants. Not sure how accurate that was though.
