(2014) PF Yante Maten to Georgia

Recommended Posts

Looking into his recruitment mostly mid-majors. He seems to be a bit of a late bloomer, IU would be the only Big10 school on his list, has room to develop,6-8, 210, a little bulking up would help.

MSU is on him also.

What do you guys think about him? Is he the type of guy who could be in the rotation his freshman year or would we have to wait until his sophomore or junior year to see solid production from him?

Do we have time to wait on his development?

He looks good on youtube, but then again who doesn't? He'd need to add some muscle to his frame to play down low in the BIG 10. Not so sure he'd contribute as a Freshman, but who knows how the transition from high school to college will effect an 18 year old?

In my best Dennis Hopper voice "looks like he's playing against a bunch of mites". I appreciate the videos. He looks better on these videos than other footage I have seen. Seems like he can move well when he wants/needs to.
