You Eskimos don't know what yer missing.  Fishing is a year round thing!

My daughter has taken to throwing duck food in the lake to see the ducks go mad over it.  It's actually chummed the water off my seawall really nicely.  Now I have catfish galore.  It ain't cheating if I'm not the one chumming, right?

Well it appears the weather has finally broke(fingers crossed).  I will give the morels a try a time or two this week but I am getting the boat ready for the week-end.  Fish on!

Fishing season is finally here! the long winter has pushed the seasons back a bit and the King (chinook) and Red (Sockeye) are starting their runs late. should be heading out in a couple of weeks to catch them as they move up the rivers. boom!!!

Quick question @ALASKA HOOSIER,

Do you ever fish for halibut?  I got a cousin that is trying to talk me into taking a trip up there to fish for them.
