Evan Gordon might not have been a Hoosier for long, but he's definitely showed his Hoosier pride over the last couple weeks in his Senior leadership and performance.  Join us in thanking Gordon for his college basketball victory lap in Bloomington!  Use this post for Thank Yous, Videos, Pictures, Stories etc.

2013-14 Indiana Basketball (Graduate Student)

In his IU debut, had six points, five rebounds and three assists in an exhibition game against Southern Indiana ... logged two points, four rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes of an exhibition game against Hillside ... scored eight points off the bench in the regular season opener against Chicago State ... posted three rebounds and one assist against LIU Brooklyn ... reached double figures with 10 points to go with seven rebounds against Samford ... finished with 12 points and three rebounds off the bench against Stony Brook ... had four rebounds and two assists in the first game at MSG as part of the 2K Sports Classic ... dropped six points in game two at MSG against UConn as part of the 2K Sports Classic ... made all six of his free throws for six points against Evansville ... collected two points, three rebounds and a steal in 24 minutes at Syracuse ... played 19 minutes off the bench against North Florida and score a team-high 15 points while also hauling in four rebounds and handing out two assists ... made his first eight shots on is way to 26 points versus Oakland while also posting five rebounds, three assists and three steals ... chipped in with 11 points, three rebounds and two assists off the bench against Notre Dame ... was all over the stat sheet with two points, two assists, two blocked shots and three steals in 18 minutes against Nicholls State ... had two points, two assists and two steals against Kennesaw State ... scored 10 points off the bench at Illinois in addition to grabbing four rebounds ... made his first start for the Hoosiers in a win at Penn State, scoring eight points and hauling in four boards ... posted eight points, six assists and four rebounds in a win over Wisconsin ... in his third straight start, he scored seven points and had three rebounds against Northwestern ... scored two points and had one steal against Michigan State ... carded two points and two steals at Nebraska ... came off the bench to score eight points and snatch two rebounds against Michigan ... posted four points against Penn State ... hit a 3-point field goal and a free throw in crunch time to help the Hoosiers to a win at Northwestern ... socred all 12 of his points in the second half and had four rebounds and two assists against Iowa ... came off the bench to score nine points and added three assists and three steals in a win against Ohio State.

 

2012-13 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR - at Arizona State University)
Played in all 35 games ... started 25 games for the Sun Devils who went to the National Invitation Tournament ... was third on the team in scoring, averaging 10.1 points per game ... four times last season he scored 20 points or better including a career-high 29 points against Sacramento State and a 28-point effort against USC ... also averaged 2.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game ... has scored 1,186 career points in three collegiate seasons ...

 

2011-12 (JUNIOR - at Arizona State University)

Did not play due to NCAA Transfer rules.

 

2010-11 (SOPHOMORE - at Liberty University)

Led the Liberty Flames in scoring with 14.4 points per game (eighth in the Big South) in his sophomore year (2010-11) before transferring to Arizona State following the season ... paced the team in free throw percentage (.762) and three-point field goal percentage (.337) ... concluded his time at Liberty 26th on the program's all-time scoring list with 832 career points.

 

2009-10 (FRESHMAN - at Liberty University)
Named to the 2010 Big South All-Freshman team ... earned VASID All-State Rookie of the Year Honors ... appeared in all 31 games, starting 25 ... achieved double figures in scoring in 19-of-31 games ... finished ninth in the Big South in scoring in conference games (14.4 ppg) ... led Liberty in field goals made (129) ... second-leading scorer for Liberty (12.0 ppg) ... second on the team in steals with 34 ... posted 21 points and a career-high eight rebounds against Charleston Southern (12/3) ... recorded four steals against Kentucky Christian (12/12) ... netted a career-high 24 points at VMI (1/2), following up the performance with 22 points at Presbyterian on Jan. 7 ... named Big South Freshman of the Week (1/4) for his performances against UCF, Buffalo and VMI ... finished with 16 tallies at Radford (1/23 )... recorded 18 points against VMI (1/28) ... posted 16 points against UNC Asheville on Feb. 11 ... netted 17 points in back-to-back games against Gardner-Webb (2/13) and Radford (2/16) ... concluded the regular-season with a 24-point performance at Charleston Southern (2/27), equaling his career high.

 

PREP/PERSONAL
A 2009 graduate of Hargrave Military Academy in nearby Chatham, where the guard played on the post-graduate team as a 12th grader ... helped the Tigers to a 27-2 record and an appearance in the National Prep Showcase Finals ... Hargrave finished runner-up at the National Prep Showcase Finals ... second player to ever sign with Liberty out of Hargrave Military Academy, which has sent numerous of its alumni into the SEC, ACC and NBA ... averaged 13.0 points and 6.0 assists per game for Hargrave, which sent 10 members of its 12-man roster to NCAA Division I institutions ... prior to Hargrave, was a three-year starter at North Central High School in Indianapolis, teaming up with his older brother, Eric Gordon, Jr., to lead the Panthers to the Indiana 4A title game in 2007 ... son of Eric and Denise Gordon ... birthday is May 1 ... graduated from ASU with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Business and Communication) ... is working towards his master's degree in sport administration/sport management at Indiana ... father Eric Gordon, Sr., was a three-year standout at Liberty from 1982-84 and currently ranks 16th all-time in the program annals with 1,154 points ... has two brothers, NBA player Eric Gordon, Jr and Eron.

Happy to keep the Gordon tree open and falling to IU! Really glad he's been able to overcome the tough start he had recently with two great games. Hope he can leave his mark on the program with the other seniors and extend our NCAA Tournament streak to 3...
