Marshall starters: 6’  5’10”  5’10”  5’8”  5’6”….. they do have a 6’3” scored 2 points last game playing a few minutes.

Marshall wins over Northern KY and Buffalo.

Louisville had lopsided win vs Northern KY.

Makalusky it’s time for her to score in double figures and rebound near a double double.  Challenge is her current performance/ability playing time and matchup because Marshall is mainly 6’ and under.

ABOUT THE THUNDERING HERD
Marshall is off to a 2-0 start with wins over Buffalo (59-39) and Northern Kentucky (68-53) last week. Freshman guard Olivia Olson led the Thundering Herd in opening week, averaging 14.0 points per game. Senior guard Timaya Lewis-Eutsey also contributed a double figure average with 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Senior forward Meredith Maier, a preseason All-Sun Belt third team honoree, added 7.0 points in the first two games of the season.

  • Indiana opened up the season 2-0 with wins over Lipscomb and UIC. It marks a two-game win streak to start the season since 2022-23.
  • Senior guard Shay Ciezki scored 25 of her 35 points in the second half as she set a new IU career-high against UIC on Friday. The Buffalo, N.Y. native knocked down seven 3-pointers in the win, going 7-for-10 from beyond-the-arc. In two games last week, she averaged 28.5 points, shot 52.6 percent from the floor, 56.3 percent from the 3-point line and a perfect 1.000 from the free throw line (8-for-8).
  • Sophomore forward Zania Socka-Nguemen also impressed in her opening weekend for the Hoosiers, as she averaged 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in a pair of games. The Silver Spring, Md. native recorded the team's first double-double of the season with 19 points and 13 boards against UIC on Friday night. In her two starts, she shot 73.9 percent from the floor.
  • The Hoosiers are holding opponents to just 18.8 percent shooting from beyond-the-arc in their first two games of the season.

I don’t think we will see it. She isn’t very good. I’m more concerned that we have a few quicker guards that can handle the ball a little bit and still a lower tier program can cause a ton of problems with presses

I think we missed at least 4 layups/putbacks in the Q and had 8 TOs.

Hard to watch, again. Beaumont, I thought would be awesome this year has been awful today. Zebras sent z to the bench. I wish Shay could bring those big game plays every game, over the last 2 years she just can’t every day, but she is good.
