Just catching up. Maybe this was already said but if we got Ledlum I think we wouldn’t have wanted Walker. Mgbako would have still been in play. Kencht would have just taken Dingle or Rayj spot. Now, you can argue they are both better options.

If we had gotten Ledlum, highly doubt that Mgbanko would be considering IU.  Ledlum would have been here to play the 3 and Reneau the 4.  Mgbanko recommitted from Duke because he didn’t want to play the Marvin Williams type hybrid 3/4 getting less minutes.

Wonder how long the staff will hold out for a decision of MM waits for a bit? The portal closes in four days. Times a ticking

Portal closes for people entering it.   Teams can sign kids that have entered the portal up until classes start.  Plenty of time even after the deadline

If MM waits till Memorial Day, likely all other higher transfer guys have committed elsewhere. So if we miss on MM and other top guys gone,  uh oh

Now do alumni and donors come up with even more bag money/NIL between now and then to help sway a decision? Kenny Payne likely to roll out red carpet. Would be dumb not to at this point having the last visit.

I think so. We can’t let Mgbako get away. Everyone has a price.

Why is his visit scheduled longer than IU’s and Kansas’s?   It makes me think he was highly more interested Louisville than the other 3 schools but he felt obligated to visit those schools that were heavily trying to recruit him

It’s most likely a 48 hour visit. He will probably arrive Friday night and leave Sunday morning…

Don't understand the draw to university 6? The players all seemed to want to play hero ball and did not seem to play as a team. All of last year their fan base was ready to burn it to the ground and get rid of Payne. Now they act as though he is the savior all over again.

Which makes perfect sense when you consider he's a high school student who has school on Friday, would arrive Friday night, and would leave Sunday morning to fly back home. He'd be there on all 3 days, but most of his visit would take place on Saturday.

His IU visit was May 5-7
