After that disastrous first inning, Hoosiers didn't quit and roared back for a 14-6 win.  Our 14-hit barrage was led by Tibbitts 3-4; Cerny and Ellis each 2-5 and Taylor 2-3.  Tibbitts 4 RBI, Taylor 3 RBI and Cerny 2 RBI.  Levy pitched 4 solid innings after relieving Whiteaker in the 1st followed by 4 solid innings by Kraft with Vega holding things down in the 9th.  Austin Render indicated this was our 11th consecutive win at The Bart.  Doubleheader tomorrow.

For those that follow more closely than I do- the announcer today remarked something along the lines of “this team is different, has the mojo. Much different than last year’s team….”. Hyperbole or legit observation?

Hoosiers take the first game of today's doubleheader 9-6 banging out 12 hits.  Big blow was the monster 3-run HR by Ellis in the 7th.  He then singled in another run in the 8th for a 4 RBI day.  Sinnard started and went 6 innings allowing 8 hits and 4 runs.  He struckout 8 and only walked 1 batter.  Decker-Petty came on but didn't last a complete inning turning the mound over to Yoho who finished the game and gets the credit for the "W".  Game #2 scheduled for a 2:45 start.

Pyne with 3 RBI  and Taylor with 2 in the game, the latter's coming on a 2-run HR in the 3rd.  Manase started and was relieved by Risedorph who struggled and in turn was replaced by Seiler.  Hayden pitched the last 3.1 innings and gets the save.

Tuesday night we host Kent State for a single game.  Next weekend we're at Penn State for a weekend series.
