SERIES HISTORY
Indiana leads 10-6

NOTES

Indiana leads the all-time series with Nebraska, 10-6. It was won six of the last seven meetings dating back to the 2018-19 season, but most recently split the series last season with a win in Bloomington on Jan. 13, 2022 and a loss in Lincoln on Feb. 14, 2022.

Senior forward Mackenzie Holmes leads the way for Indiana in scoring and rebounding as she continues her strong start to the 2022-23 season. She put up a new career-high 32 points at Michigan State and added 12 rebounds, the first player to record a 30/10 double-double since 2002 (Jill Chapman).

Accuracy from the floor has been one of Indiana's strong suits this season, compiling a 51.5 percent clip from the floor, which ranks third in the country and tops in the Big Ten.  Helping add to that percentage is one of the nation's best shooters in Mackenzie Holmes, who is second in the nation in field goal percentage (69.1).

The Hoosiers will look to bounce back after its first set back of the season at Michigan State on Thursday afternoon. Despite one of its highest field goal percentages in a game this season, Indiana just couldn't overcome a slow start as it was forced into a season-high 21 turnovers.

Jeez -- Bargesser shoots a 6-foot airball, then misses a point-blank layup with nobody on her.

Nerves, maybe?

That was pitiful. I know women are more prone to missing wide open layups, but a college basketball player should never miss that.

Mack knows better than to turn right into a double team while holding the ball that low.

That wasn't very smart.

She's forcing things, like everyone else. The three point shot isn't there today so we're having to pound it down low every time.
