No. 18-ranked Indiana men's soccer (6-2-4, 2-1-3 B1G) will play its final Big Ten Conference road match when it faces Wisconsin (4-5-3, 1-3-1 B1G) on Tuesday (Oct. 17) at McClimon Track/Soccer Complex.

SETTING THE SCENE
• After an emphatic 4-2 victory over Penn State, Indiana looks to carry the momentum into a final push for the Big Ten regular season title while it also continues to build its postseason resume.
• IU is undefeated in its last six matches and has just one loss since the start of September (6-1-3).
• The Hoosiers have scored 25 goals from 12 unique goal scorers this season. Redshirt senior Ryan Wittenbrink leads the Hoosiers in goals (6) and points (17).
• Redshirt senior Daniel Munie has tallied two goals, one assist and a clean sheet in four matches since returning from injury.
• Senior Nyk Sessock leads IU with six assists, four of which have come from long throw-ins.

ABOUT THE BADGERS• Wisconsin comes into the match with a 4-5-3 record and sits eighth in the Big Ten table with four points (1-4-1). Its last result was a 2-2 draw with No. 7 Maryland.
• The Badgers are led by first-year head coach Neil Jones. Jones has compiled a 85-59-29 career record in 10 seasons as a head coach.
• Junior defender Maxwell Keenan leads the Badgers in goals (5) and points (12). Junior midfielder Tim Bielic has a team-high five assists including three in Wisconsin's last three games.

SERIES HISTORY
• Indiana has dominated the all-time series with Wisconsin, leading 41-5-9.
• IU has won five straight matches since 2018, outscoring the Badgers 14-2 in that span.
• Indiana and Wisconsin played a dramatic match last season. The contest was scoreless until the 106th minute inside second overtime when Tommy Mihalic scored a golden goal. The win
put the Hoosiers in position to compete for the regular season title in their next conference match.
• Indiana holds a 6-2 advantage in Big Ten Tournament matches versus the Badgers, though Wisconsin won back-to-back tournament matches most recently in 2016 and 2017. Both contests were decided by penalties.
• Five current Hoosiers have scored against Wisconsin in their careers: Mihalic, Brett Bebej (twice), Herbert Endeley, Maouloune Goumballe and Daniel Munie.

Watched the whole game.  Had music on at the same time.  Benard Allison, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Government Mule, John Mayall..

IU controlled a lot of the game.  But UW was energized after the halftime break.  Near the end, IU was slowing.  Glad they ran out the clock.

A couple of beautiful goals by IU, for sure!
