Class of '66 Old Fart

(2024) - G Rakease Passmore to Kansas

Recommended Posts

In a 63-49 win, Passmore 17p 5r 2a 3s

Rakease Passmore once again continues to showcase his much improved perimeter jumper. He is already a highly sought after recruit, but this takes his game to another level. Passmore had a game-high 17 points, to go along with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Of his 6 made field goals, 5 were jump shots. Passmore connected on 3 catch and shoot three-pointers and 2 midrange pull-ups.

The midrange pull ups are the eye catcher here. His offensive game in the last has been almost exclusively catch and shoot 3’s and straight line finishes. If Passmore becomes a legit 3 level scorer combined with his D he’s a no doubt pro.

Just saw that Passmore/Combine Academy is playing Compass Prep, which is Montverde-ish talent-wise, on the opening night of Flyin’ to the Hoop in Dayton next month. Ok, I’m really excited now.

It’s the little things that make us happy.

I agree with you but at least he's from NC.

While frustrating I also can't blame kids....Had I been able to pick any D-1 school, like most of you, without question it would have been IU, doesn't matter who offered what.
