Based on the picture from the other day and the reaction here it looks like Samit might be big brothering Karvala a little bit. I would say that’s a very good thing if true because Karvala comes across as a little bit of a different kid and if Samit is the kind of kid who just naturally does that sort of thing I am immediately a fan.

Respect on the Superunknown t-shirt.  RIP Chris  Cornell

Cornell was such an amazing singer / songwriter and guitarist. Really a father of 90's grunge, Soundgarden got it all going.

Badmotorfinger is in my top 5 albums of the 90s with Metallica Black Album, VH For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, Foo Fighters The Colour and the Shape, and Pearl Jam Ten.  Got to love a college kid wearing the 90s grunge shirts.

I'm a big grunge fan, my favorite 90's bands were Alice in Chains (Jar of Flies, Dirt, Facelift), Nirvana (Bleach, Nevermind, In Utero) and Soundgarden/Audioslave (everything Cornell). Love me some Foo Fighters and Metallica as well. Definitely like a college kid rocking 90's grunge

You and Demo made that thread too bougie. We need somewhere to talk about the good stuff.

A gift. From me and @Demo; to those who want to be less bougie:

Hey now, I don't need to be taken back to the beginning of my JR year of HS wondering why I can't run into a girl like Tiffany at the local mall.

I was (and am) a big fan of grunge and '90s hard rock music. It's sad that so many of the big names of that time are dead now, often by their own hand.

I was confused the first time I heard Nirvana and Pearl Jam on a classic rock station. My initial response was, "WTF!? Why is this on here, it's not classic rock!?" Then I did the math...

Something, something, IU basketball, something, something. (gotta stay on topic)

Ha — I was at my neighbor’s surrounded by his teenage daughter and her friends and small talk, asked what bands they were into. His daughter said oh I like classic rock, you know, like Nirvana. Lol

My step daughter in her senior year of HS 2 years ago had a 90's day as a part of Spirit Week and wanted a Nirvana T-Shirt because that is all she knew of the 90's, I lent her a Pearl Jam one and told her that would be just as good.  The next day it was a sports themed, and I tried to give her an IU one.  She said she couldn't use it because she would be "murdered" wearing an IU because of being in Kentucky, so I gave her a Cubs one instead.  Nevermind came out 35 years ago. Sigh

My older child always kind of balked on wearing IU gear going to school in Kentucky. But my middle child, he’ll sport it proudly! Love it

So you're saying your middle child is the black sheep of the family.
