We got the win. Did we just get the bugs worked out? Hopefully these guys can take breath and get focused for Thursday. Nice to get a W in the tournament no matter what it looked like. If this wasn’t a play in game and we played like this it would be a short trip back home. Build off of it and advance. Still dancing

If, IF, we are clicking we are a 12 seed nightmare  for other teams. Wyoming was rated in the top 25 during the season and we beat them with only 1 of our starters having a good game. If X and Race get it together we can beat St Mary’s.

Honestly, up until him fouling Maldanado on the 3, I thought Stewart played his best defensive game of the year (I know that's not saying much).  Stewart was on Maldanado a lot and we played him straight up.  This was his 127th college game.....and he's never had a game with TEN turnovers.

Size wise, we definitely matchup with St. Mary's more. But they are like Virginia. Boring. But smart. They won't get out and run, have a bunch of steals or blocks... But they will be smart and do their thing. They have shooters. Real shooters. Trayce will have to be ready to get doubled all night.

Was Stewart guarding him in the last few minutes? Maldonado had a few Crean-in-the-handshake-line blow-by's and was getting to the rim way too easily. I was too frustrated to see who he'd left in his dust.

Given the plight of IU basketball before Woodson took over this year I'd say he's doing just fine.  The roster is what it is.
